From the Desk of Principal V. Hippolyte-Agard
Dear I.S. 381 Students,
Congratulations on completing your first week of remote learning! Through the challenges of transitioning to virtual learning and navigating various online platforms, you survived!!! I have been in constant communication with your teachers throughout last week and have heard of your wonderful accomplishments. I am extremely proud of you for embracing this new form of learning, and making great strides at overcoming the challenges.
As we embark on our second week of school, I want you to know that it will become easier. The entire IS 381 Team are here to support you and ensure your success.
Here are a few suggestions in order to be successful during this period of remote learning:
· Establish a daily routine or schedule for working and keep to it. Remember, you are not on vacation, rather you are at school, learning remotely from home.
· Find a quiet and consistent place at home for completing your lessons and activities.
· Make sure to set aside time for some form of physical activity, other than playing video games. Keep active!
Have a great second week! Looking forward to visiting your online classes and chatting with you this week. Stay safe and healthy!!
