My MCU Park Experience

On the trip to MCU park we had an amazing tour guide who showed us everything at the stadium including the locker rooms. The beginning of the tour started with us learning about the history of the Cyclones. We learned about the different stages of minor league baseball (Rookie, single A, Double A, triple A then the New York Mets). After that we went to the batting cages to see where the batters practice hitting balls. After that we went to the bullpen were they told how during the game the pitchers would practice and the coach would call down to the dugout when a pitcher was ready. After that we went to the dugout, put our stuff down and got to jump over the little fence in front of the dugout. We went on the field next and all ran the bases and we all made “home runs”.

After the tour we went straight to Nathans the best hot dog place ever created, and we each bought food. The lines were long there but it was worth the wait because the food was amazing. Once we all got our food we all sat down at some benches and ate, talked and relaxed while we waited for the bus. After today I would definitely go again but maybe on a day when the players were in New York.
